Need more time to apply for a travel grant for Palm Springs? Good news! The application deadline has been extended to Monday, September 5, 2016.
All 4 districts of Region XII (Hawaii/Pacific Islands, Nevada, Northern California, and Southern California) will have their own respective Travel Grant Awards. Grantees will be notified by Monday, September 12, 2016.
Travel grants are open to NAFSA National Members as well as non-members however preference will be given to NAFSA members.

Secondary school colleagues, the Region XII Regional Conference registration has opened. We will be offering F-1 Advising: Secondary Students on November 1, 2016 for $150. In addition, we will have a Secondary School Track of sessions to help with the needs of K-12 educators and international students at our upcoming conference in Palm Springs, CA this fall, October 31 - November 4, 2016. For those of you who may come on Sunday, March 20, there will be a complimentary wine and cheese networking reception from 5:00pm - 7:00pm in the Community Room at the College.
If you'd like to be more involved and have 5 hours during the conference to volunteer, you can qualify for the volunteer rate! When registering for the conference, be sure to indicate 'volunteer' on your application. You will see there are a few different areas where we can use your help: preconference, registration, general (for various conference needs), hospitality and special events!
