This webinar will take an in-depth look at the process for Form I-17, “Petition for Approval of School for Attendance by Nonimmigrant Student,” updates. Attendees can submit questions about the Form I-17 update process prior to and during a live question and answer session.
The webinar is designed for DSOs and those with an interest in the Form I-17 update process.
SEVP encourages stakeholders to submit their questions about Form I-17 updates to SEVPOutreach@ice.dhs.gov by June 26, 2017. Please note that SEVP presenters will not answer questions that are case specific or about specific petition updates at this time.

This webinar will provide an opportunity to learn about the upcoming December 2016 release of the SEVP Portal, and how post-completion OPT students can use the portal to report personal and employer information to SEVP. Please note that although the SEVP Portal will interface with SEVIS, it will not grant students direct access to the system. Following a brief presentation, SEVP presenters will answer questions from the audience.
